Life Is A One Way Road

Life is, in fact, a one way road, if you think about it. Yes, there may be obstacles, and yes, certainly, people might cut you off while driving, and you might run out of gas, but it's a one way road.

You might need to run once in a while, sometimes, you'll just need to stop and rest because everything just going to fast. And that's perfectly okay. Life isn't a race. We don't need to try to beat people in everything we do. They're not our enemies. The real enemy is yourself- your overthinking. Sometimes, you just need to halt for a few minutes, or a few days, and refuel yourself- and I just want you to know- that's okayLife isn't a race.

Life is a one way road.

You can't go back in the past, and fix your mistake. Once you've taken the step, there's no reverse gear. So why exactly are people afraid to step forward? I don't know. I think it's just that our human nature uses reason to the point where it doesn't help you anymore. It prohibits you from doing what you want to do. So think of it like this: Life is a one way road, no matter what you do, you'll learn from it, and ultimately you'll be left with experience and wisdom. If you made a mistake, you'll know not to do it again. And if you haven't, you're just going forward.

So the next time you want to do something, just go for it. There's nothing to lose.

I've come up with this theory: if you think forward, you go forward. It's pretty simple if you think about it. All you have to do is look into your future, work towards that goal, and then- Voila! you're there.

Life is a one way road. Just go for it.

  1. Thanks for this analogy. Life really is a one way road and we should stop looking at those embarrassing upsetting mistakes in the past, and look into the future, at how we can fix these mistakes or make our lives better.
