What is Beauty?

Beauty is so much more than what you see in the mirror. And I feel like that needs to be emphasized in today's world. There are fifth graders who wear makeup to school to be popular, or 'beautiful.' And that's wrong. It's just my opinion, but it's wrong. Society is portraying beauty the wrong way. It's wrong that people that are barely ten years old feel ugly and to cover up their 'ugliness,' they wear makeup. That's just wrong. Ten year olds are supposed to play, be care-free, go to fairs and get face-paint done (left). Not because it 'beautifies' them. Because it's fun.

Beauty is learning to love who you are.

Beauty is what makes you happy.

Beauty is being positive.

Beauty is definitely not starving yourself to look skinny. It is not the result either.

Beauty is doing things you love regardless of what people say about you.

Beauty is being comfortable and confident with no makeup.

What Beauty is not:

I just wanted to put this out there. It's important.
